Here's the Assessment of Where You Stand "Thanks for taking the quiz!" Now you have a starting point and a direction as to what your next step should be.

When you type "yourtown" and "chiropractor" into the google search box what page does your website show up on? Example: Chicago chiropractor. Your Answer: A1 Page One Analysis: Congratulations! You are already ahead of the game as only 10 chiropractors can show up on the first page. This means that you are getting some traffic, and that is the first step. You need to keep working your way up the page as the top 3 sites get the majority of the clicks. Another step for you to work on is conversion, which means getting those searchers to do what you want them to do, i.e., call your office, fill out a form, etc.

Your Answer: B1 Page Two Analysis: You have a traffic problem. Not enough searchers are finding your site. You have got a bit of optimization to do on your website to make google assess that you are relevant to the searcher's query. You need to be working on step one, which is getting on page one to get traffic to your site.

Your Answer: C1 Page Three or Beyond Analysis: You have a traffic problem. This means that not enough searchers are finding your website. You will need to focus a good deal of time on optimizing your website. You will want to make your site look more relevant to google. Even if you have a beautiful site, it's not doing you any good if it doesn't get seen.

How many patient leads do you get from the internet every month? Your Answer: A1 5 or more Analysis: This is great if you live in a town of 100,000 population or less. Good job! However, if you live in a town of over 100,000 you may be losing some leads. If this is the case, you have a conversion problem.

How many patient leads do you get from the internet every month? Your Answer: B1 3-5 patient leads Analysis: This could be good or just average depending on the population of your town. If you live in a city where the population is under 75,000 you are doing a good job. If you live in a city of over 75,000 then you may be missing leads, in which case you have a conversion problem. This means searchers are getting to your site but are not taking action.

How many patient leads do you get from the internet every month? Your Answer: C1 1-3 patient leads Analysis: If you live in a small town with a population of 20,000 or less, this may be all you will get per month at this point. But keep working on your internet presence because the trend to search the internet for a chiropractor is going to grow and over the next few years will totally overtake the phone book. Hang in there. However, if you live in a city with a population larger then 20,000 then you have a traffic problem. This means not enough seachers are finding your site and you're losing the possibility of patient leads.

How many patient leads do you get from the internet every month? Your Answer: D1 None Analysis: You definitely have a traffic problem! No one is finding your website. But, as they say, we all need to start at the beginning at some point. In this case, the beginning must be now. You need to get to work right now. There is still time left, but if you wait a year or so, it'll be too late and there won't be a chance for you to compete.

What is your current patient case average? This is an average of the amount of money a new patient brings into your clinic. An easy way to estimate this is to take the amount of collections you did last year and divide it by the number of new patients you had last year. This is an important number for you to know as it will tell you what a new patient is worth to your clinic and help you determine the maximum amount you should spend in order to get a new patient. Your Answer: A1 $2,500 or more Analysis: Congratulations! You are cooking! You should use internet marketing as one of the major marketing strategies of your practice. It would be very beneficial to your practice to dominate the internet in your town.

What is your current patient case average? This is an average of the amount of money a new patient brings into your clinic. An easy way to estimate this is to take the amount of collections you did last year and divide it by the number of new patients you had last year. This is an important number for you to know as it will tell you what a new patient is worth to your clinic and help you determine the maximum amount you should spend in order to get a new patient. Your Answer: B1 $1,500 to $2,500 Analysis: You are just above the "norm" for a chiropractic case average. You will want to make sure that you are not spending more on your marketing efforts then a new patient is worth to you. Savvy internet marketing of your practice will be of great benefit to you. Make sure you always keep in mind this case average number when looking at the ROI (Return On Investment) of different marketing offers.

Your Answer: C1 $700 to $1,500 Analysis: This a just at, or even a bit below, the "norm" case average for a chiropractic office. You either need a constant flow of new patients or you have very little overhead. Marketing your practice online should be one of the strategies you use to get new patients. Knowing your case average number will help you to assess which internet marketing offers will be beneficial to you.
