We Open Or Practice Tomorrow Thanks to Chiropractic Internet Marketing

It was a year ago today that my wife and I opened our own chiropractic practice. It has been extremely successful. We have had so much demand that we ended up bringing two more chiropractors aboard. A big part of our success has to do with Chiropractic Internet Marketing. If we didn’t get our name out there then people would not even know about us. We have worked very hard to educate our community on what a chiropractor does. Since the closest practice before we opened is over an hour away people around here just did not understand what it is that we do. Sending link loving to a Chicago Chiropractor.

How to Get New Patients With Chiropractic Internet Marketing

67167As you know by now this is a favorite subject of mine.

Well we need to start at the very beginning. You need to have some type of web presence, usually a website. There are all kinds of websites companies out there in all kinds of price ranges from the do it yourself type to the other extreme of everything done for you. You can have a blog type of website or a more traditional html type chiropractic site.

When you are making choices about websites, there are a few important considerations. Two major considerations are, will it convert the searcher into a potential patient lead? and the other consideration, will the website be found by the search engines and rank high in the search results?

If you are trying to build it yourself, you must study a bit about what the search engines are looking for on a website so you know how to go about creating yours. I have talked to so many doctors that have spent a lot of time on their websites only to be so frustrated when they show up on page 6 of the search results.

And if you are working with a company to do it for you, you need to look at cost and return on investment. You need to analyze your market (your town) and know how many new prospects are searching for a doctor online and then make a decision about the cost to ROI ratio.

Chiropractic Internet Marketing: New Video Blogging Module

Hi, Dr. Jamie Phillips here, I wanted to let you know about a piece of free video screen capture software you can download and start video-blogging on your blogs to your patients. This is very cool and easy.  I’ve walked you through exactly how to do it. Why video blogging, you ask? Well, videos are the hottest way to communicate on the internet right now, and with a video blog post you really only have to write a couple of lines of text, so you get the power of video and you don’t have to write much, sweet! You can’t get this information anywhere else. So over the next four posts  I will be laying out how to do this.  Now this is free software, it does not have all the functionality of of some of the software you pay for. I have a Mac and use a screen-capture software called Screenflow and if you have windows there is a great screen capture piece of software called Camtasia (this is by the Techsmith company the same company that makes the free software in the following videos).

By the way, if you don’t know how to set up a blog go to our home page and sign up for our free course The Ten Essentials of Chiropractic Internet Marketing.

Anyway this software is free and easy, see how you like it. Learn the technique and you can upgrade in the future. I hope you enjoy the information. If you like the videos please comment and you can always hit the 5 star button on YouTube to give us a boost.  Please feel free to comment on this post also, we love comments. Good luck and get out there and try this, it’s fun and powerful. You will really start to develop a leadership role in your communities using this technique.

The one drawback is that you can’t upload the videos to YouTube in the “flash” format. You need to convert the videos to another format in order to use them on YouTube. YouTube has a free converter download. But this is an advanced topic. First, just follow my videos and play with some posts. Get the hang of the technique. Once you feel confident, we will move on to more advanced strategies.

Demystifying Social Media

Hey, I thought it was about time to talk about social media. It is the main buzzword these days. Perhaps you have heard the expression web 2.0. Well, basically that is the web coming to you instead of you having to go surfing to find things. There are rss feeds that allow you to get the information you want right into your email without ever having to go to the site. And with the new browsers like flock you can follow your friends on twitter, facebook and youtube right on your screen all the time. Now if this sounds like a bunch of gibberish, relax, my team and I have put together a free course to explain it all.

As chiropractors there are basically three main social media sites that are somewhat important for us. And let me be the first to say that none of them are going to make you rich! Anyone that promises 20-30 new patients a month from twitter or facebook or YouTube for that matter is shining you on!

Now, lets talk about why I think you should join these three sites. It is all about communication. We all know, that is, any of us that have been in practice for a while, that the doctor that keep in frequent contact with their patients, has much better retention then the docs that don’t.

The sweet thing about these sites is it allows you to keep up a relationship with your patients. You know how patients always want that personal relationship? And we don’t have time to develop those relationships with each patient, at least not until now! You see, with these types of sites you can keep patients informed about you and your life and practice, without actually having to individually spend the time. It’s Beautiful! So get cracking on setting up your social media sites.

And if you don’t know how to start, sign up for our free 10 part course right here at Chiropractic Masters.

Talk to you soon.
